Headquartered at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains in Farmington, Utah, RoboSTR is a team of technologists, problem-solvers, and customer advocates passionate about elevating the short-term rental experience—for both owners and guests.

As STR property owners ourselves, we’ve lived the challenges firsthand. We saw the wide gap between what homeowners actually need, what property managers can reasonably provide, and what booking platforms expect. From managing utility costs in the extreme climates of Southern Utah to preserving a seamless guest experience, we knew there had to be a better way.

We built RoboSTR to close that gap—with a smarter, more intentional approach to home automation.

In our own properties, energy efficiency wasn’t optional. Summer cooling and winter pool heating could make or break our margins. At the same time, we wanted guests to feel welcomed and cared for, without handing them a user manual or a pile of smart home remotes. Most high-end automation systems came with complex interfaces, and one curious guest could accidentally change settings that took hours to restore—leading to frustration and lost revenue.

On the other hand, consumer-grade solutions like Google Home, Amazon Echo, and Apple Home were too limited, too gimmicky, and raised real privacy concerns—especially since they often required tying devices to the owner’s personal accounts.

So, we built our own system—a custom solution that works silently behind the scenes. It’s designed to minimize guest interaction, prevent unwanted tampering, and maximize both energy savings and guest satisfaction. The result? Guests focus on enjoying their stay. You focus on growing your business—not fixing settings or fielding support calls.

At RoboSTR, we don’t just sell automation—we engineer peace of mind.
